Privacy & cookie notice

How UXellence handles your personal data and cookies, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

Who we are

This website, uxellence.gr, is operated by UXellence (Matthaios Mantzios), based in Athens, Greece. For any privacy question, contact matthaios@uxellence.gr.

What data we collect

We collect only what we need:

  • Contact form: when you submit the form, we receive the name, email, company and message you provide, so we can reply. This is delivered to us by our form provider (Formspree) and processed on the basis of your request to contact us.
  • Analytics (with your consent): if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, approximate location, device type. This runs only after you accept.

Cookies

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies until you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode, which keeps analytics storage disabled by default. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Strictly necessary preferences (such as remembering your cookie choice) are stored locally in your browser and are not used for tracking.

Third parties

The contact form is processed by Formspree, which forwards your submission to us by email. Data submitted through the form is handled according to Formspree's privacy policy and may be processed outside the EU. When enabled, Google Analytics is provided by Google. Links to external platforms (LinkedIn, Medium, Amazon, ADPList, The Decision Lab) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email matthaios@uxellence.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Retention

Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period.
