Accessibility statement
Accessibility is core to how UXellence works — so it's only right that this site is held to the same standard we ask of our clients.
Our commitment
UXellence is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We treat accessibility as a design principle, not an afterthought, and we work continuously to improve the experience of this website for all users.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible. This website was designed and built to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and additionally incorporates the new Level AA success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2. We consider the site to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
"Substantially conformant" means the site meets the standard across the vast majority of content, with any exceptions noted under Known limitations below.
Measures we've taken
- Colour contrast verified against WCAG AA thresholds for all text and interface elements
- A "Skip to main content" link and consistent, keyboard-operable navigation on every page
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements (WCAG 2.4.7)
- Scroll padding so focused content is never hidden behind the sticky header (WCAG 2.2 – 2.4.11)
- Semantic HTML landmarks, a single H1 per page, and a logical heading structure
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics hidden from screen readers
- Form fields with associated labels, clear required-field indicators and status messaging
- Respect for the "reduced motion" system preference
- Consistent placement of help (Contact) across the site (WCAG 2.2 – 3.2.6)
- Touch and pointer targets sized for comfortable use (WCAG 2.2 – 2.5.8)
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may remain. If you encounter something not listed here, please let us know.
- The contact form enhances submission with JavaScript. With JavaScript disabled, it falls back to opening your email application so no message is lost.
- Links to third-party platforms (Medium, LinkedIn, Amazon, ADPList) lead to sites whose accessibility we do not control.
