Toolkits

The tools to run the review — and the documents to prove it.

Two kinds of thing: Figma kits for reviewing a product before it ships, and the Word and Excel documents you hand over afterwards — conformance reports, audit reports, accessibility statements. All of them are the artefacts used on real enterprise and public-sector work, stripped of client branding. Built and maintained by the author of a WCAG 2.2 and EAA guide.

EAA compliance documents

Compliance paperwork, done properly

The artefacts the European Accessibility Act expects covered organisations to be able to produce.

All toolkits are sold and delivered through Gumroad. Instant download, lifetime access, updates included. Prices exclude VAT. Applicable VAT is calculated at checkout based on your location; business buyers can enter a VAT number for reverse charge.

For designers and design system teams

Review a product, or document a library

Three tools for the people who do the work. Two are Figma files for reviewing a product before it ships — one for the whole experience, one for accessibility specifically. The third is for the teams who own a component library and have been asked to prove it conforms.

Where these fit

Between the free checklist and a full audit.

Start with the free EAA & WCAG readiness checklist to see where you stand. When you know what you need to produce, these toolkits give you the exact document — fast. And when the gap is bigger than a template can close, that is what an accessibility audit is for.

If you own a component library rather than a product, the ladder is different: the Conformance Pack gives you the document, and a design system audit gives you the verdict behind it.

Bigger than a template?

If the gap is more than paperwork — a product that needs auditing, remediating and future-proofing — that is a job for a senior partner, not a download. UXellence runs full WCAG 2.2 and EAA audits with a prioritised, effort-ranked roadmap your team can act on.

FAQ

Questions about the toolkits

Which audit kit do I need?

The UX Audit Kit reviews the whole experience — usability, flows, hierarchy, consistency — with accessibility as one part of it. The Accessibility Audit Kit does accessibility only, in depth: 25 checks against WCAG 2.2 AA, a severity model and an export-ready report. If someone has asked you “is this accessible?”, you want the second. If they have asked “is this any good?”, the first. They overlap by design; buying both is not the intention.

What is an EN 301 549 ACR, and do I need one?

An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) documents how a product meets EN 301 549 — the EU's harmonised accessibility standard, which references WCAG 2.2. European public bodies and organisations covered by the European Accessibility Act increasingly request an ACR during procurement. The EN 301 549 ACR Kit provides a VPAT-compatible template with pre-built WCAG 2.2 tables.

Do these templates make my product compliant?

No. They are professional reporting and documentation templates. You still have to test your product — automated tools catch only about a third to a half of real accessibility issues. What the kits remove is the work of structuring, phrasing and defending the output, so your ACR, audit report or accessibility statement reads as credible evidence rather than an improvised document.

What format are the toolkits delivered in?

The compliance and conformance kits are delivered as Microsoft Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx) files; the UX Audit Kit and the Accessibility Audit Kit are Figma files (.fig) that work on Figma's free tier, with no plugins required. Purchase and instant download are handled through Gumroad, and every product — Word, Excel and Figma alike — carries the same terms: lifetime access plus free updates. You can reuse the templates on unlimited client projects; reselling the templates themselves is not permitted.

Who created these toolkits?

They are created by Matthaios Mantzios, a UX design leader and accessibility specialist, and author of Web and Mobile Accessibility: A Comprehensive Guide to WCAG 2.2, the ADA, and the European Accessibility Act. The templates are the artefacts used on real enterprise and public-sector accessibility audits, stripped of client branding.

Do the prices include VAT?

Prices are shown excluding VAT. Because VAT rates differ across the EU, the applicable VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your location — and the full VAT-inclusive total is shown before you confirm payment. Business buyers can enter a valid VAT number for reverse charge. Payment and delivery are handled by Gumroad as the merchant of record.
